Healing Life groups


Biblically-Based Recovery for Adults. Get help if you're struggling with various hurts, harmful habits or hang-ups to find a turning point in your life through Jesus Christ. Confidentiality valued. 

Every Tuesday, 6:30 – 8:30 PM in the chapel

Adults who are grieving the death of someone close gain support from people who understand, want to offer comfort, and hope to encourage you during this difficult time.

Support in a group setting for adults who are separated or divorced. Experienced leaders understand and care about you. Work toward recovering from the pain and rebuilding your life.

Support group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.

Discussing foundational truths of life in Christ provides you the opportunity to grow - wherever you are in your faith journey. If you are interested in becoming a member of Northbrook Church, Life with Jesus is the first step.

Offered this fall at 3 times:

The Real Life group has a relaxed environment, large group teaching, small group discussion, and no homework.

The topic this fall is "Trustworthy" by Lysa TerKeurst, a the study of the books of 1 & 2 Kings in the Old Testament.

Scripture teaches that we're all made in the image of God.  We don't define ourselves; the Creator does.  This study reveals biblical answers to foundational questions of identity so that you can discover all God has called you to be.

Discover things you never knew about Jesus’ baptism and journey into the wilderness, the meaning behind his parables and miracles, the significance of his death and resurrection, the  expansion of the early church, and how the transforming mission of Jesus can still turn the world upside down today.
