Global Mission
God calls the Church to use the resources of people, finances, and time effectively and efficiently. He has chosen the Body of Christ to carry out His mandate to disciple the nations. Northbrook Church desires to be used strategically in God’s Kingdom purposes to reach our world.
Northbrook Church believes that doing missions flows out of being God’s missional people. Scripture is our foundation for being His people on mission. The fruit of being people of mission is participating in God’s work locally and globally.
God deserves and delights in mankind’s offering glory and praise to Him. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord…” Hab. 2:14
The task of missions is to proclaim and demonstrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ. “Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” I Chron. 16:23-24
Often there is lack of clarity as to what missions really is. For Northbrook Church, we believe our strategy for being His missional people requires us to be clear on our own purpose.
And so Missions at Northbrook Church is activity that leads to the fulfilling of the Great Commission. This includes the sending and supporting of gifted and equipped believers from North America, the supporting of gifted and equipped indigenous leaders from other parts of the world, and the supporting of initiatives and ministries that facilitate the making of fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ in other cultural contexts. Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ

End by joining other students, drivers and navigators at various homes in the Milwaukee area for dinner.
International students arrive in Milwaukee one week before the other students arrive. For many, this is their first time in America. This is an opportunity to connect cross culturally without leaving Wisconsin. It could be the beginning of long lasting friendships and an opportunity to be a witness for Christ.
